Summary for idea #735

As a game developer and tester we get so tired of hearing about how real the graphics look, when we test the games we notice that they are all on the same level when it comes to graphics.

We also feel like there is way to much time and money being spent on this task, time and money should be focused on the idea itself, the entertainment factor not the technical jargon.

Scan and play would warp us quickly into the future; what I mean by scan and play is you stand in front of your computer, or game console's camera/scanner, and click your the character in the game in the game.

The game use's real people suited to fit what ever the game is where humans are involved as the character you pick, and if a person doe's not like themselves being a part of the interaction they can choose other real life characters.

This is not a gimmick or idea for game, this will become standard for the gaming community; to use real life landscapes as well as real life people to play whatever game idea, this graphic style alone will save time in graphic programming and put more focus on making the game creative and fun.

It would be more intuitive than clicking a host of buttons to move characters around, this could actually lead to the creating of games that allow you to control certain aspects of your life by integrating real life tasks to the game.

There are partial ideas, out there but nothing is remotely close to what I have in mind, this has to be explained in person due to the fact for lack of better terms to describe it, it falls into an already thought of idea, but it is absolutely not.
