Startup Idea: Legal Research Efficiency and Tracking Tool
I work closely in the legal field in a self employed contractor position. I have to do a great deal of research on platforms such as lexisnexus, Jstor and fastcase. The issue I have is in basically trying to, as best possible, monitor my usage of these platforms and also ensure I am basically performing research in the most expedient way possible. This basically entails that I require some add on platform and software which would assist me in this.
Something that matter of factly tracked usage, learned keystrokes, helped me to better my usage of the research platforms and this would be best served as a program which was effectively an add on. It makes things quite complicated when I'm tkaing on a project but to get up to date with the legal sphere on a topic I spend ages first trying to do research and doing so in an improper way.
So yeah, that's what I would love to have solved. These skills are usually taught at university level and are mostly platform specific and not generalized for when one may require multiple platforms when doing contract work, so I simply lug through the work or hire someone to aid me for a certain project.
