Startup Idea: Modern Twitch Client for Linux Users
Summary for idea #758
Startup idea to build an electron-based application for Linux users that utilizes the full capabilities of Twitch (like finding and following new streams, chatting etc.) and has an appealing UI, superior to existing, limited, or visually unappealing apps.

As a linux user for over a decade, we often get left behind in terms of software availability. One thing that seems to be available on every platform that simply does not have a modern Twitch client.
There are a couple very barebones versions that pull the API and poorly populate a list of streams, however their functionality is greatly limited, and the UIs are just unbearable.
A great solution could possibly be some kind of electron-based app that allows users to use the full functionality of Twitch (find and follow new streams, chat, etc). You may get some push back on the electron part, but people will definitely use it. I've only been able to find very ugly GTK apps.
