I am a chef of a high quality and expensive restaurant, we have over 30 employees working for 1 location. During our first year of business we had to source out a lot of different needs from different vendors.

We currently use paper invoice tracking with the details for the vendor which we have to call, or some of them have websites and email for our orders and needs. Unfortunately, when we need to train someone new on how to place orders for our specific needs it can be a nightmare to find all of the information.

The idea would be to have a mobile application that would track the names and services that each vendor has and the items they carry. A database application that could use a search engine to find exactly what we need and who carries each thing, and possibly places an order through the application.

It would be nice if the application were usuable through Apple, Android and PC applications and could keep track of the user and what they order and how much was spent on said order. I have looked through different apps, but none offer what we need. We searched for Job needs, inventory catalogs and many other things. No we still use the same method.
