Startup Idea: Instant Messaging Service for Retail Stores Stock Checking

Startup idea to develop an instant messaging service to facilitate communication between local retail stores. The service would provide quick and reliable information about product stock, resolving the issue of unreliable in-store systems, and saving time on telephone calling.

I work at Target (a retail store) in the Electronics Department. It would be immensely helpful if there was an instant messaging service to communicate between local stores in the area to quickly check on stock of certain products rather than have to go into our unreliable systems.

We already have stock systems in place but they are historically unreliable, sometimes we'll be with a guest and the system straight up won't even load so we have no choice but to actually call the local store on a telephone, holding up everyone's time. An instant messaging service would be life changing, for the guest and the employee.
