Startup Idea: Radio Communication System for Workplace Efficiency

Startup idea to develop a software based radio communication system that can streamline efficient communication between team members at work without breaching safety policy or consuming personal mobile data.

I need a radio communication system for my job. Often times my team of 8 other co-workers have to communicate quickly throughout the day and that takes way to long to happen.

Often times we have to chase each other down in person and that is time consuming. Other times we have to text each other which is also not convenient because there is an anti-phone use policy in place - which is a major safety concern among the staff members. I text on my phone. I don't like having to use my data at work and there is a chance I could send the wrong text to someone.
