Startup Idea: Webcam Performance Optimization for Mturk Activities

Startup idea to develop a software solution to optimize webcam performance specifically for Mturk tasks. This could be a plugin or a standalone software that enhances webcam responsiveness and reduces lag during Mturk hits, possibly overcoming constraints imposed by the user's computer or issues associated with Mturk's existing software.

I have been doing Mturk for about 3 or 4 years now. I am finally getting more qualified by buying a webcam and trying harder hits.

My problem is that normally my webcam works correctly with this laptop. When I try to do webcam hits through Mturk it gets all laggy and choppy.

The solution is either the software used by mturk or my computer is too slow to use the webcam through mturk. I am learning towards my computer being too slow but there is also a chance that the software used by mturk is not working properly. I emailed the requesters of the webcam hits for advice. Still waiting for a response.
