Startup Idea: Startup Idea: Mileage Tracker App

Startup idea to develop a mobile application which tracks and records business travel data like mileage. This tool should also have a feature to upload travel data directly to reimbursement programs, promoting accuracy in log keeping as well as convenience and time efficiency.

I'm a lab manager for a research lab studying cognition. Much of my job entails driving from place to place in order to collect data. I have to keep track of my mileage to get reimbursed, but often either forget to do so or have hard time remembering to log it. I think I, and other members of the lab, would benefit from a phone application that may be used to track and record trips made for business. If I could press a button, then let the application track where I am going (and amount of mileage) until I indicate I am finished, it would make for accurate travel data. Further, if I could easily upload this to the company's reimbursement program it would save time, ensure that I (or other's was being accurate), and would make sure that all trips are being logged.
