Startup Idea: Premium E-commerce Platform for Custom Creators

Startup idea to develop a premium E-commerce platform specifically designed for artists and custom creators. The goal is to offer a sophisticated, high-end, online shopping experience, that caters to unique, one-of-a-kind products and brands.

I work as a creative. There are plenty of software needs in our field. For example, I create custom pottery - mugs, plates etc. I have a shop in suburban detroit (metro area - SE Mich) and a solid customer base. We have been around since 2009. There are lots of people like me with ESTABLISHED successful businesses that would like to extend and build our unique BRAND as well as sell our products worldwide. But, the typical one-size-fits-all shopify 'store' does not suit our needs. Because of the ave price point of my CUSTOM one-of-a-kind products, our customer base expect and deserve a much higher end shopping experience than the same one they visit when snagging a AC/DC T-shirt. We simply have not seen a SOFTWARE solution we like. Sure, we can hire someone to build out a site of our own.But, that's way too pricey. We are looking for something in between and would be happy to pay for it. A PREMIUM shopify experience if you will. yes, online stores.
