Startup Idea: Single Sign-In Service for Multiple Accounts

Startup idea to develop a website or app that allows users to store login credentials for multiple online services in one place. The service would require only one sign-in, automatically logging users into all other stored accounts. This solution could improve productivity by reducing time spent managing and accessing multiple accounts and enhance security by limiting the need for manual password storage.

I am a creative director at a media production company. We produce all types of commercial video from weddings to commercials and even music videos. I work with all types of software and I have literally dozens of accounts with various online services. I would calculate that I spend anywhere between 20-30 minutes in a day just logging into my various accounts. That includes time spend finding the correct login information and often resetting the password because I forgot it. I would like a website or app that could solve this problem for me and here is how I propose it works.

The service would allow me to store all of my login credentials in one place. By storing all of my login information for all of the websites and services I use it would allow me to sign in one time. After signing in to this service it would automatically log me into all of the other websites and services stored. This would save me several hours of wasted time a month and cut out a lot of stress and hassle of manually managing these accounts.

I know I did some beta testing for a browser extension that had a similar function. I don't remember the name as it wasn't released at the time but the extension allowed you to form a cart that could hold items from any website. So if you needed to shop online you only had checkout one time no matter how many different sites you were purchasing from. The service I have in mind could operate similarly to that and it could inherently provide more security due to not having to write down or store passwords in other locations.
