Startup Idea: Shortcut Map Parser for Walkers and Bikers

Startup idea to develop a software that generates shortcuts by parsing Google maps data. This will allow users who walk or bike frequently to discover and utilize faster paths such as cutting through parking lots or shopping centers, thereby saving time.

I walk and bike a lot and am always looking for easy shortcuts. Cutting through shopping centers. Walking across a parking lot. Google maps doesn't do shortcuts that I know of. I think some kind of map parser would be great.

Example: This morning I went for a quick walk, cutting through a office buildings parking lot cut about 5 mins off my walk time compared to the route google maps wanted me to take. I haven't seen any apps. The solution right now is simple, keep my eyes peeled in my new neighborhood.
