Startup Idea: Fitness Machine Configuration Startup Idea

Startup idea to develop a software-integrated retractable settings device for fitness machines. It will automatically determine optimal machine settings (weight, resistance) based upon user-specific metrics (age, BMI, heart rate etc.).

I currently work in the fitness industry. I am a fitness attendant which means that I monitor patron safety while they exercise either by themselves or use equipment. However, it can be a little daunting given that different customers come in with different fitness levels. One thing I would like to be able to use as a part of my job is like an easily retractable settings device for fitness machines. For example, it would be the size of a small tape measurer and latch on to the different machines. It could pre-determine the amount of weight, resistance ,etc. that a patron can use based on different factors like their age, body mass index, heart rate,etc.
