Startup Idea: Social Media Trends Scanner for YouTube Content Creators

Startup idea to develop an application that identifies and tracks trending social networks. The app would also provide user demographics for each platform to help YouTube content creators keep in touch with their fan base and stay ahead of social media trends.

I run a youtube page that makes money from advertising and also from an online store. I love reaching out to my subscribers through social media. However social media changes all the time. One day Twitter is the biggest thing. Then its Instagram. I never know the best/newest way to connect. I wish there was an application that was able to find the newest popular social networks. I want to be on these social networks communicating with the subscribers of my videos. I need to know what the new popular ones are before its too late. It would be great if the app could give demographics of the users of each social network it finds.
