This is not a Warehouse idea, so read it through. I work in a warehouse that deals in shipping musical instruments. The business partnered with Amazon two years ago and in the last year has expanded exponentially. The problem being faced, is such a high turn over on entry level staff, training is being neglected on the staff, after a year of hardships, some of the longer employees with all the training, left the company due to a number of reasons. i had suggested to the company multiple times (prior to a mass exodus of staff), to start drafting operating procedures for all departments, to make it easier to train new staff, as well to have the experience of older staff written down in the event they leave. Now my problem that software could fix is, if i were to write operating procedures for my company i have to do it on my own time... which is not economical to me... if there was a software that has templates for employer's to easily and efficiently draft up operating procedures. templates offered could be, step by step process to perform a task, a template to make legal jargon for doing the safe operation of a job (i.e 10.3.2.a if the bin is near a hazard, place back into designated area. 10.3.2.b if designated area full, contact supervisor. ... etc). template with jpg slots to add photos of the task being performed. Also the template should have some database that can be connected to the different labour laws and operating codes of the area your business operates (i.e. if your making a training template for fork lift training, the database has the option to download your regions fork lift operating code, and allow you to add parts of it to it. or suggests a training procedure will not work due to breaking ordnance 10.3.3.45 of the {insert region} code as of 2015.) things of that nature.
