Startup Idea: Cross-Platform Message Alert System

Startup idea to develop a device or software that alerts users regarding any incoming messages, not just text messages but including notifications from various social media platforms.

I work from home, i tend to miss messages. it would be cool to have a device or something that would send alerts that i have a message, not just texts. phones do link to watches. but i mean something that would link to other types of messages like from social media. i have and i like said above have found watches. that vibrate or ding when i get a text message, but not from other things. like social media.
