Startup Idea: Real-time Newspaper Delivery Route Tracker

Startup idea to develop a software solution for the newspaper industry, allowing managers to keep real-time track of their newspaper carriers. This would include updates on location, notifications once the final delivery is made, and helping improve accountability and performance indicators.

I work as a manager in the newspaper industry. One of the problems that I have to deal with on a daily basis is keeping track in real time of my carriers to verify that they are done on time everyday.

Of course there are systems that can track GPS but I have not found something that tells me where each carrier is in real time and once they reach the last delivery on their route I would be notified.

This would help keep track of my key performance indicators, carrier accountability, missed papers, complaints, etc. I have looked in Google, called different companies and spoke to other managers in different states.

I do not solve this problem now. It is something that I have to deal with everyday.
