Startup Idea: Digital Package Logging System for Apartment Buildings

Startup idea to develop a software that modernizes the package management process in apartment buildings. The system should allow the staff to scan packages upon arrival, automatically notify the residents, and enable electronic signature upon pickup.

I work in the apartment industry and we log packages by handwriting them on a piece of paper (in a binder) and then having the residents sign for them when they pick them up.

This is antiquated and i wish there was a way to scan the package and have a notification sent to the resident. Then they would come in and sign for the package on an ipad or signature pad.

This would make our jobs a lot easier.
