Startup Idea: Automated Data Entry and Management System for Car Dealerships
I work as an Internet Sales Manager at a car dealership. I answer product questions about the vehicles and set appointments for test drives.
We track our customers using a CRM, or Customer Relations Manager. I work alone, performing basically a three man job. The amount of customers I get on a monthly basis can be overwhelming. The most tedious part of my job is entering the data for each customer, email, phone numbers addresses. With as many customers as I have, it takes a lot of time to enter the information.
The software would need to be a automated data entry system, automatically taking the information I receive from each email lead or from the phone's caller ID and put it in the correct areas in the CRM for each customer entry. The software could open up on the computer screen as soon as the lead came in with the information in place, allowing for further manual data entry of more variable information. Over time, the software could add voice to text integration that works with our phone systems to enter the conversations had to keep track of anything relevant. In time, it could evolve into an app of mobile-compatible alert system while away from the computer.
I would pay good money for the software. The system would save valuable time for the business allowing a single person to perform a groups job with more efficiency.
