Startup Idea: Email Refractory Software for Efficient Communication

Startup idea to develop an email refractory software to solve the problem of unnecessary back and forth emails in the education/research sector. The software would help the user avoid sending redundant emails by notifying them of new responses while crafting an email.

I work in the education/research industry. I spend a good amount of my time corresponding via email with colleagues and others. One of the concerns I have come across lies with communication via email. I find that sometimes messages are exchanged back and forth at a fast paced rate. Hence, I find that sometimes I am working on an email to a colleague about a question or concern or mine--only to find that while crafting a follow-up email the colleague has responded. However, I did not know because I was in the process of drafting the present email. Hence,it would be wonderful to have software that refracts unnecessary emails. Software with email refractory capability would be very helpful--most especially since some correspondences are sent just before needed information arrives, or even right before a problem or concern is solved moments after.
