Startup Idea: Grading System Software Integration with Excel for Educators

Startup idea to develop a standalone software specifically designed for educators to efficiently track student grades with ease. The software should be simple to use, integrate with Excel, and should be able to handle various grading elements such as homework, assignments, extra credit, project work, participation, etc.

I work in education and although there are a lot of software solutions available. I have yet to find an easy way to keep track of student grades. You would think this would be a perfect job for standalone software, but everyone I know ends up struggling with Excel to do this. It would not need to be mobile, but it would need to be simple and probably integrate with Excel. It would need to incorporate homework, assignments extra credit, project work, participation, etc. Having this problem taken care of efficiently would help many teachers greatly.
