One big pain point that is not yet solved by software is following up with clients on recommendations and projects that are being worked on, and tracking their progress.

For example, if a recommendation is made to change a home insurance policy, software confirming a broker was contacted and all necessary steps occurred to get the policy in place. This would entail tracking the progress of the task, and generating emails, letters, or reminders to call the client, or other parties involved in the job.
