Startup Idea: Forum App for Museum Artworks

Startup idea to develop an app that incorporates QR codes on museum displays, allowing visitors to participate in global discussions about individual pieces of art. This forum-style dialogue adds an interactive, tech-laden edge to museum experiences.

I work in a museum and we really value having dialogue about the pieces we show. It would be really great if there was an app where we would have a QR code on the little placard next to a piece and people could scan it on the app and it would bring them to a sort of forum about the piece where they could participate in a discussion with other visitors. It would work for visitors at a single museum or you could read the thoughts of others from around the world if the piece of art has made a tour. I have not really tried to find a solution to this. I think incorporating technology into museums is relatively new.
